The Second Week:

Already!? I need another cup of tea….

Monday 9th September – Following on from last week it was still a bit hard to get up for school but on this day by the time we got up, school wasn’t going to happen as My daughter was throwing up since she woke and me and my son didn’t feel great ourselves. At least I only had to make one call to the school for both of them instead of the usual 2 calls. (one for nursery and one for school)

It all starts…

September and it’s a bit full on.

The first week:

Wednesday 4th September (Day 1 of school)- My son started year 5 and my daughter started Year R (reception) and that alone is crazy to think about… Monday and Tuesday was inset day so they didn’t start til Wednesday… Was so weird after I dropped them off at school and went home… It was so quiet! I’ve had my two kids with me 24/7 for the entire Summer and although I’m use to having them all the time anyway other parents get to have others have their kids for days or nights and get that ‘me’ time and I don’t have that. So I just let the silence be my me time and then before I knew it, it was time to pick them back up. As expected my daughter was exhausted.

September Already!

The months have flown by!

I had a birthday, the summer holidays, deep cleaning and redecorating the flat, been messed about with appointments and had multiple bouts of sinus headaches that have crippled me… Not to mention all the things that happened in between….

I haven’t had the chance or been in the mood to come on here and read and write everything and clearly regretting that because so much has happened I don’t even think I can remember it all.  Continue reading “September Already!”

Can it get anymore hectic..?

So it’s been awhile… Again… Sorry about the length of time between posts the time just flies by when you have a lot going on.

So a quick recap of the past few weeks… My sister is trying to take me to court, I’m behind on the allotment, ran into financial difficulties, cooking competition came up, finished up college, been ill quite a lot, follow up cervical screening, my daughters last booster injections and my sons move up day…. I’m sure there is more but really at this point I can’t think further back at the moment.

End of half term again…

Firstly let me begin by saying I can’t believe it’s been over a month since my last post! Where has the time gone? Even this half term has flown by! I have continued to get ill with constant sinus infections that have caused my sinus headaches… Not good! Crippling even!

I’m behind on this blog, my allotment plot, my redecorating, home organising and being a feedback person for my sons school. Continue reading “End of half term again…”

Happy Easter Half Term! :)

Bit of a late post considering nearing the end of half term now.

Did I get any housework done? No…

But I did do things which usually I don’t when it’s half term… Not because I don’t usually want to but because of money and weather etc…

This time I had money to do things and despite the weather we went out and did things and you know what? I’m happy.

So before half term I got paid a few days earlier due to the bank holiday and that always messes me up when it comes to my budget! Continue reading “Happy Easter Half Term! :)”

Wow what a week…

We had snow again surprisingly! Not as heavy as it had been a few weeks back but enough to lay and blanket everything.

This week hasn’t gone to planned really… I was hoping to get stuff done at home, complete what I needed to complete in my folder for college and make a start on my allotment. Continue reading “Wow what a week…”

You’ll never guess what…

I ended up being ill again!

That’s right… After one of my last posts about just about being recovered from a sinus headache and a long week of on and off, up and down flu like symptoms… I was completely better for like a day or two and then…

(I’ll try not to go into too much detail) Continue reading “You’ll never guess what…”

Less often than a blue moon…

… I’m talking about snow! I live in the united kingdom – England – Hampshire – on the south coast…Which means we rarely ever get snow and a blue moon happens more often than snow does!

But we had it surprisingly… I noticed the first flurries happen while in college this past Monday and it was on and off most of the day. Then  on the Tuesday I came out of my flat to go on the school run to find that snow had laid! I didn’t even know it had snowed otherwise I would have gone straight out in it!  Continue reading “Less often than a blue moon…”

Death come swiftly…

That’s how I felt recently! I haven’t been very well… Last week I had multiple cold/flu like symptoms every day that passed I gained a different symptom feeling more and more worse and then just as I felt back to normal again I ended up with a constant migraine that went on for three days straight!

The pain was excruciating! The pain itself made me feel nauseous and I struggled to do anything, I couldn’t think clearly, I could barely get around and my head felt like it had been kicked in with a golf club! (Or at least felt like that would be what it would feel like if I had been!) Continue reading “Death come swiftly…”
