Back to the norm is it?

Back to school, back to nursery and back to college… which means back to gym, (next week I think) back to trying to sort out my place… The kitchen was sorted completely and then Christmas dinner happened and then I got lazy in that “crimbo limbo haze”. Now I have to clean the kitchen and put everything away, finish painting and then go on to sorting the bedrooms out because they don’t look like bedrooms anymore. (Well not the way I want them to look like anyway.)

So far today we woke up late and only had 20 minutes to get up, dressed and ready and out the door. Didn’t have time for breakfast so ran into a nearby shop to pick up some breakfast bars and then headed back into the direction to the nursery and once I said bye to my daughter we headed to the school to drop my son off.

*sigh of relief* Both children fed, where they are suppose to be and on time. Yes! Then I had to speak to the office about a text they sent me this morning… I need to pay £15 by no later than tomorrow morning for my son to continue his guitar lessons tomorrow… But I don’t have £15 after sending £85 to what’s her face…. I ask them If I can pay on Monday and then he can continue next Wednesday but they said as long as I can actually pay on Monday then he can continue tomorrow.

I also asked when should I let them know in advance when to end his lessons so he can start a new instrument instead after the summer holidays… They didn’t like that but I explained he would have been playing for a year and I would like him to try various musical instruments so that he can find the one he likes best, I am already paying for his drum lessons and his guitar lessons and there is no way I will be able to pay for a third not to mention my daughter will be starting school September 2019 and I would like her to try some musical instruments too so my son will have to go down to one music instrument. They were understanding and said when they send out a new letter for music lesson to then let them know he will no longer be doing the guitar and then add a different lesson.

Moving on… I popped to the shops on the way home to grab some food then when I got home I made a bacon sandwich and a cup of tea. *sigh of contentment* I looked around and knew I had loads to do but it will have to wait while I enjoy the breakfast I had missed and while I am at it watch some recordings on TV and oh it looks like I have a message on my social media…

How strange…

I received a message from someone I haven’t seen or spoken to in a while and it went from civil to beyond bizarre and baffling… – Have a read on the next post and let me know if something similar has happened to you.

Thanks for reading 🙂

I'm a 28, ambitious full time mum of two amazing and funny children. I try to live a happy simple life but of course there can be drama even if do try to avoid it. A lot does go on with Family and friends and I try to blog as often as I can because this is a good way for me to write what I'm thinking, feeling and helps me remember things that go on and writing it down on a piece of paper doesn't do myself any justice I need to be honest with myself and if blogging is the way forward for me then so bit it. If you happen to come across my blog and actually like and follow it thank you very much. :D I have had to make strong and hard decisions in my life and I have come out stronger and wiser every time. I'm shy, opinionated and can be socially awkward at times but I am trying to build up my confidence and I just want to share with you my life story if you are willing to listen and I am only too happy to do the same for anyone else who wants me to know :) I try to be as honest, open and kind as I can in life. - My aim is to Blog every day whether I am able to keep up with that well we shall see :)

  1. I loved this post! Wow Girl! I laughed the whole way through. So much of that resonated with me! Fantastic, look forward to some more. Today my neighbour got locked out and they spent lunch with us, I left them in my home whilst I had to collect my son only for the smart meter engineer to turn up at the same time and couldn’t find parking. I don’t remember the last time I sweated like a pig in the heart of winter! 😩 I wanted to collect my son in a vest and shorts! #mumlife
