Daily Post #2

Morning! It’s a bit wet here from the night before but drying. I have decided to write my daily posts in the morning because I seem to run out of time in the evenings to write one as the other posts have a lot more in them. D:

Recap of yesterday:

I found out last minute that my son is going on a trip! And I had to make an environmental friendly lunch… (So the less rubbish the better!) After we pop in and out of the shop to grab bits for his lunch I start to pack it in his bag. Suddenly I feel something hard hit the top of my head. (Ouch! What was that?) Some people have just walked past and chuckled and I assume it’s because they threw something at my head. (Yeah yeah real mature.) So after I finish what I’m doing I go to take off what it was that landed on my head… I was horrified to find out that it was a splodge of black and white muck…. (What?! Ah Crud!) A bird crapped on me didn’t it!? (That’s why they chuckled! They saw it happen! How mortifying!! D: ) I flicked it on the floor and grabbed the pushchair and my son and hid behind an alley.

I tried to wipe my head with wet wipes but the problem was I couldn’t see anything. So I had to ask my son to look for me and help me wipe any off my hair but I felt it was just being rubbed in more! D: I had to order him to use his fingers to pick it out and get it all out as I couldn’t! After being a bit squeamish he ended up doing it all thankfully and we were back on our way to school. (What a trooper!)

Today so far;

This morning I was about to cross the road but then thought better of it and waited for the lights… A bird then crapped in the spot I would have walked on! (Phew! That was lucky,  could have been deja vu!) We got to the school and we are early, so we are the first ones at the school gate.

more people come and the gate starts getting crowded- I end up getting distracted by these 2 boys (brothers) next to their mum; the youngest decides to bite the oldest’s nipple. (Yeah…You read that right!) Then the oldest smacks the youngest across the head. (:o Ooo!) And the mum’s reaction is to jump out of her skin in outrage where the 2 brothers flinch. (Even I flinched!) Unsure whether she was gonna do something to them… She just told them off in her language and checked the bite.

I then hear my sons croaky upset voice. I look down and he is crying! (What happened?! What had I missed?!) I ask him what’s wrong and he tells me the 3 boys in front of him thumped him in the back to push him out of the way so they could be first at the gate! Livid I look up to have a go at the boys but of course the gate has just opened and all the kids and parents are spewing through the gate out  onto the playground.

We get into the playground and I ask my son if he could point them out to me. He does but they are running around and I don’t have a chance to stop any of them to have a word so I look for the staff member that is on playground watch. I see 3 woman chatting away all with ID’s on them but unsure whether they are the school staff or what… Finally I see the head mistress come out and I stop her to explain what had happened and she goes off to find the boys for answers but I get told nothing else… Hopefully she tells them off for their behavior and talks to their parents…. Where were there parents anyway? They are too young to be walking to school without them and what happened to manners?

The bell rings and it’s time for my son to line up and go to his class. I give him a hug and hope he has a good day! And off I go back home with my daughter (it’s her day off nursery on Wednesdays) as I have loads to do!

If you want to know what usually goes on in the playgrounds on school drop offs and picks ups for me I will be writing a post soon on Playgrounds when you are a parent. Also I will be writing a post on whats been going on for me at our home and why I have so much to do in so little time! (There is just so much to write but I don’t want to write one long ass post that you will give up reading on.)

Things I need & want to get done today;

  • Tidy living room. (Daily chore.)
  • Get all washing up done. (Easier said than done. There is a lot.)
  • Clean kitchen floor. (Needs to be clear, hoovered and then mopped.)
  • Clean out fridge. (Terrible at keeping up with this.)
  • Take out bins. (Always forget – I have to go down 11 floors so it’s not like I can just throw it in the bins outside my door whenever.)

Lets hope I can at least get these done and there may be an update later. 🙂

Have a good day!

I'm a 28, ambitious full time mum of two amazing and funny children. I try to live a happy simple life but of course there can be drama even if do try to avoid it. A lot does go on with Family and friends and I try to blog as often as I can because this is a good way for me to write what I'm thinking, feeling and helps me remember things that go on and writing it down on a piece of paper doesn't do myself any justice I need to be honest with myself and if blogging is the way forward for me then so bit it. If you happen to come across my blog and actually like and follow it thank you very much. :D I have had to make strong and hard decisions in my life and I have come out stronger and wiser every time. I'm shy, opinionated and can be socially awkward at times but I am trying to build up my confidence and I just want to share with you my life story if you are willing to listen and I am only too happy to do the same for anyone else who wants me to know :) I try to be as honest, open and kind as I can in life. - My aim is to Blog every day whether I am able to keep up with that well we shall see :)
